Where are you located: Relaxinn is Ocean side near the North Carolina Aquarium at Jennettes Pier in Nags Head, mile post 16.5. For information concerning the aquarium/pier please visit the following WEB site http://www.jennettespier.net/
What is a B&B: At the most basic level, a bed and breakfast is a place -- often found in a renovated home, mansion or small hotel -- to spend the night and enjoy a full breakfast (included in the price of the room) in the morning.
Why a two night minimum: To experience Nags Head and Relaxinn it takes more than a day, if you need a bed for a night it is cheaper to go to a motel. We will do one night if the bookings work out.
Are you expensive: We are not. As a matter of fact if you eat a healthy breakfast and enjoy fine wine and hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon we are not expensive. Full course home cooked breakfast, for two, US $ . Afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres for two, US $. If you do not drink wine we offer fine sparkling waters.

When are you open: April - November - open for special events in the off season, please call
How close are you to the ocean: Depending on tide about 75 yards
Has Black Beard Stayed Here: We have had no guest registered under that name, but we have had several Teachers stay here

Relaxinn is the closest ocean front B&B to Manteo/Roanoke Island

Fall Conditions: September – Mid October Not as Hot, Water is still warm, Less crowded, less traffic, late fall weather can be an issue
Fishing: Charter – no license required – we can transport to either Pirates Cove or Oregon Inlet Fishing Centers – full or half day
Pier – no license required, Outer Banks pier two miles, new Jeannette’s Pier to be completed May,2011, 150 yards from B&B
Surf – License required – license available one mile from B&B
Hang Gliding: Certificate required and can be acquired same day as flight, best time is early morning - We will accommodate breakfast
Local events: Visit Outerbanks.org
Restaurants: We can give advice, from within walking to one and a half mile there are about ten from casual to white table cloth
Church: A Catholic church is located directly behind the B&B, others within couple miles
Sand Dune: Largest sand dune on the East Coast – 3 miles north of B&B
Light House: Bodie Island 5 miles South – Hatteras Lite 40 miles South – Corolla Lite – 40 miles North
Roanoke Island: We are closest oceanfront to the Island – 4 miles
